Wednesday Trends - Jodi

Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday!

Jodi here and it's my turn to share a Wednesday Trend with you. I thought I'd show you how I cut an image "out of the box" when using Nestabilities. I have seen a few different ways of doing this, and the way I've done it below is the easiest for me.

I started by stamping my images in Memento Tuxedo Black onto X Press It Blending Card. For my card, I've used the SUPER sassy Domestic Goddess set from There She Goes.

I then choose which Nestabilities die I want to use, and I place it over my image. Using a pencil, I mark off the areas of my image that do not fit in the die.

Using a pair of paper snips, I carefully cut around the portions of the image that I marked off. I make sure to cut into the image (ie: go further with the cut than necessary).

I then place my paper in the Nestabilities Die I am using, making sure to put the portios that are NOT being cut with the die on the outside.

I then run my die through the Cuttlebug and then cut off the excess from "out of the box pieces". Easy!

I then colored this sassy gal with Copic Markers and added a bit of sponging to the panel. I LOVE the sentiment, "I would like to cancel my subscription. I'm tired of your issues". Cracks me up!

I hope you've enjoyed my little tutorial and are inspired to try this yourself!

Thanks SO much for stopping by!!
